Leading Israeli Rabbi Says the Arrival of the Messiah is Imminent

“I will bring you out from the peoples and gather you out of the countries where you are scattered, with a mighty hand and an outstretched arm, and with wrath poured out.” (Ezekiel 20:34 )

Rabbi Chaim Kanievsky, a leading authority in mainstream Ultra-Orthodox Judaism, has been giving clear and unequivocal messages recently that the coming of the Messiah is imminent. He is urging Jews to make Aliyah as soon as possible. Aliyah, the Hebrew verb for “going up”, refers to immigrating to Israel, which is seen as higher spiritual action that can help herald in the coming of the Messiah.

It was reported that the Rabbi Kanievsky was presented with a pamphlet, written by Rabbi Yitzchak Ben Tzvi from the city of Bnei Brak, dealing with the End of Days and many other related prophecies. Rabbi Kanievsky, who is a pillar of the Jewish community and known for his authoritative books on Torah law, read the pamphlet carefully.  After a short consideration, he told those around him that the pamphlet needed to be distributed and that Jews living outside Israel should return to their ancestral land.

In yet another instance of Rabbi Kanievsky’s call for aliyah, author Rabbi Yekutiel Fisch revealed advice that was given to his cousin, a teacher at a prominent Lakewood Yeshiva who visited Israel recently and went to Rabbi Kanievsky to receive a blessing at the end of his visit.

The Rabbi told him that he should not leave Israel because the Messiah would be arriving very soon. The teacher responded that he had 700 students waiting for him in Lakewood. Rabbi Kanievsky told him that he must bring all of the students to Israel. Upon his arrival in Lakewood, the story spread quickly, creating quite an impression on the students who all revere Rabbi Kanievsky.

After a lifetime of immersing himself in classical Jewish texts, Rabbi Kanievsky’s study partner informed various media sites that the Rabbi is talking about the messiah “all the time.” Since last summer’s war in Gaza, the Rabbi has been spreading this message of imminent return. In one instance, Rabbi Kanievsky instructed a Jew from Argentina who asked for a blessing that he should “gather your family and come to Israel.  Otherwise, there won’t be enough room for you on the airplanes.”

When asked about the timing of the Messiah’s arrival, Rabbi Kanievsky answered, “At the end of the Sabbatical year.” Several people have asked the Rabbi to verify this and he has given the same answer each time. This year is the Sabbatical year and it will be ending on the 29th day of Elul, which, by the Gregorian calendar falls on Saturday, September 12, 2015.

In answer to Rabbi Kanievsky’s call, the Jews of France have begun to arrive in Israel in blessed droves. The impetus is certainly a reaction to increasing anti-Semitic and Islamic fueled violence across Europe.

After the horrific terror attack at a Kosher market in Paris six months ago, Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu urged French Jews to come home to Israel. His remarks drew criticism from some, however last week, in the wake of Ramadan violence in several countries including France, Zeev Elkin, the Israeli Minister of Immigration and Absorption, called on French Jews to make Aliyah, echoing his leader’s words.

“Come home! Anti-Semitism is growing, terrorism is on the rise and the sickly ISIS activists carry out murders in the light of day. We are prepared to accept the Jews of France with open arms,” he said.

Last year, 7,000 French Jews made aliyah to Israel, making it the number one country of origin for new immigrants. The Jewish Agency and the Ministry for Aliyah and Immigrant Absorption are expecting more than 3,000 French Jews to immigrate to Israel this summer alone, many of them families with children who want to arrive and integrate before the beginning of the school year.

It should be noted that it is considered a positive trait to always be anticipating the Messiah. The Chofetz Chaim, Rabbi Yisrael Meir Kagan, a great Torah sage, is  told to have said that any time he heard a loud noise, he would say, “Perhaps the Messiah has arrived?” Similar stories have also been told of the leading Moroccan Kabbalist, the Baba Sali, Rabbi Israel Abuhaseira.

(Before It's News)

I urge you with everything in me to please watch the video below in its entirety. There is so much on the video that is imperative to hear. It dives into the very core of end time prophecy and exposes how we literally are on the brink of the coming tribulation spoken of in the book of Revelation. I cover how a major Islamists website declares their belief that their Mahdi could be returning in 2015 or 2016, how an Antichrist candidate from Turkey has risen to take the lead, the ignition of Psalm 83 War in Fox News reports, how the Biblical Antichrist resembles the Muslims Mahdi, and so much more! I believe your jaw will drop at the things I expose in this video and trust me you’ll be shocked by how close we really are!

So could the Muslims Mahdi and Christian Antichrist actually be the same person?  As a Christian, I have to say that the similarities are quite compelling!

Below is a chart I complied with information—and the sources I grabbed them from—so you can determine what the truth really is about these two characters:

The Biblical Antichrist

The Muslims Mahdi (Their messiah, The 12th Imam)

The antichrist will be a leader who has the ability to speak boldly.

“…and a mouth speaking pompous words.” Daniel 7:7-8

“… And he was given a mouth speaking great things…” Rev. 13:5

The Mahdi will be a leader who has the ability to speak boldly.

“He will be so powerful that if he… shouts among the mountains, hard rocks will turn into powder…”. (Bihar al-Anwar, Vol. 52, p. 32; Al-Hurr al-Amili, Ithbat al-Hudat, Vol. 6, p. 19)

The Antichrist will be accompanied by the false prophet who will lead people into serving him.

“Then the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet who worked signs in his presence, by which he deceived those who received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image.” Revelation 19:20

The ‘Muslim Jesus’ (not to be confused with the Christian Jesus) will return to help the Mahdi get accepted by the world.

“ The Hour will not be established until the son of Mary (i.e. Jesus) descends amongst you as a just ruler, he will break the cross, kill the pigs, and abolish the Jizya tax. Money will be in abundance so that nobody will accept it (as charitable gifts).” (Sahih al-Bukhari, Volume 3, Book 43: Kitab-ul-`Ilm (Book of Knowledge), Hâdith Number 656)

The Antichrist will have a powerful army that will do damage to the earth. Ultimately causing all to follow him.

“So they worshiped the dragon who gave authority to the beast; and they worshiped the beast, saying, “Who is like the beast? Who is able to make war with him?” It was granted to him to make war with the saints and to overcome them. And authority was given him over every tribe, tongue, and nation. All who dwell on the earth will worship him, whose names have not been written in the Book of Life…” Rev. 3:4-8

The Mahdi will also have a powerful army that will do damage on the earth. Ultimately causing all to follow him.

“Mahdi will receive a pledge of allegiance as a caliph for Muslims. He will lead Muslims in many battles of jihad. “ Abdulrahman Kelani, The Last Apocalypse, An Islamic Perspective, (Fustat, 2003), pp. 34-35

“If you see him, go and give him your allegiance…” Ibn Maja, Kitab al-Fitan #4084 as quoted by Kabbani, p. 231

The Antichrist will be a world leader and rule for seven years.

“He will confirm a covenant with many for one seven [7 years]…” Daniel 9:27

“Authority was given him over every tribe, tongue, and nation.…” Rev. 3:7

The Mahdi will be a world leader and rule for seven years.

“The Mahdi… will fill the earth with equity and justice as it was filled with oppression and tyranny, and he will rule for seven years.” Sunan Abu Dawud, Book 36, Number 4272, Narrated by Abu Sa’id al-Khudri

“Fight against the forces of evil, lead a world revolution and set up a new world order…”  Ayatullah Baqir al-Sadr and Ayatullah Muratda Mutahhari, The Awaited Savior, (Karachi, Islamic Seminary Publications), prologue, pp. 4

The Antichrist will change times and laws.

“He..shall intend to change times and laws.” Daniel 7:25

The Mahdi will more than likely adopt the Islamic calendar thus changing the times. In addition he will promote Shariah law changing the laws.

“He…will govern the people by the Sunnah of their prophet and establish Islam on the earth.” (unan Abu Dawud, Book 36, Number 4273, Narrated Umm Salamah, Ummul Mu’minin)

There is a white horse rider in the Bible that is bad news for the world.

“…Behold a pale horse. He that sat on him…went forth conquering and to conquer.” Revelations 6:2

The Mahdi comes riding on a white horse.

“It is clear that this man is the Mahdi who will ride the white horse and judge by the Qur’an (with justice) and with whom will be men with marks of prostration (zabiba) on their foreheads.” ‘Izzat and ‘Arif

The Antichrist and false prophet will promote a one world religion.

“ He…causes as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed..” Revelations 13:15

The Mahdi will make Islam the only acceptable religion.

“He…will govern the people by the Sunnah of their prophet and establish Islam on the earth.” (unan Abu Dawud, Book 36, Number 4273, Narrated Umm Salamah, Ummul Mu’minin)

The Antichrist will execute infidels through beheading.

“I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony for Jesus and because of the word of God. They had not worshiped the beast or his image and had not received his mark on their foreheads or their hands. ” Revelations 4:20

The Mahdi will execute infidels, anyone who does not believe in Islam, through beheading.

“I will instill terror into the hearts of the unbelievers: smite ye above their necks and smite all their finger-tips off.”  Surah 8.12

“Therefore, when ye meet the Unbelievers (in fight), strike off their heads…” Surah 47:4

The Antichrist will kill Jews and Christians. He will kill anyone opposing him.

“He was given power to make war against the saints and to conquer them…” Revelations 13:7

“The dragon [Antichrist] stood in front of the woman [Israel] who was about to give birth, so that he might devour her child the moment it was born.” Revelations 12:4

The Mahdi will kill anyone who opposes Islam. He will kill the Jews and the Christians.

“Muslims take neither Jews nor the Christians for your friends. They are friends with one another. Whoever of you seeks their friendship shall become one of their numbers. Allah does not guide wrongdoing.” Surah 5.51

“Slay the idolaters wherever you find them. Arrest them, besiege them, and lie in ambush for them.” Surah 9.73

The Antichrist will attack and conquer Jerusalem.

“For I will gather all the nations to battle against Jerusalem; The city shall be taken…” Zachariah 14:2

The Mahdi will conquer Jerusalem.

“Jerusalem will be the location of the rightly guided caliphate and the center of Islamic rule, which will be headed by Imam al-Mahdi.” (Sahih Muslim, Book 041, Number 6985)

The Antichrist performs many signs, wonders, and miracles.

“Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,” 2 Thess. 2:9

“And he does great wonders, so that he makes fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men, And deceives them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast…” Rev. 12:13-14

The Mahdi performs many signs, wonders, and miracles.

“In the last days of my Ummah [universal Islamic community], the Mahdi will appear.  Allah will give him power over the wind and the rain and the earth will bring forth its foliage.  He will give away wealth profusely, flocks will be in abundance, and the Ummah will be large and honored…” (Sahih Hakim Mustadrak, related by Abu Sa’id al-Khudri (4:557 and 558), as quoted by Kabbani p. 233)

The Antichrist will make people receive a mark on the hand or forehead to pledge allegiance to him.

“And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:” “And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.” Rev. 13:16-17

Followers of the Mahdi usually mark themselves with headbands on the foreheads.

Muslims receive ‘bismillah’ (in the name of allah), unbelievers receive ‘bismilkafir’ (in the name of unbelievers)

With evidence like this, I’m forced to ponder the possibility that the coming Christian Antichrist is the Muslims ‘savior’ (Mahdi)!

In the video below I skim through the very core of Islamic end time prophecies using one of their own prophecy books and how it’s linked to Christianity. Additionally I discuss how Satan is using the Islamic religion to bring about the Biblical Antichrist, also known as the Muslim Mahdi and the possibility of the mark of the beast being ‘Allah’s mark’ which I found linked in the Hadith and Qur’an. I believe you will be not only surprised at the finding but shocked by them.

If we take into consideration all the above information: the beginning of Psalm 83 War, Turkeys President claiming himself God, the Muslims readying themselves for the Mahdi, and the rising of an Antichrist Candidate; then one must ask themselves the question as to how close we are to the building of the Third Temple that will be desecrated by the Antichrist. To answer that question we must go to the Vatican. Here is a quote from Yoni Chetboun of the Jewish Home

“For many years, the Vatican has been investing large sums in purchasing assets in Jerusalem, with the purpose of blurring the city’s Jewish character,”

Survival Guide for the End of Days

“…Then, the Lord, your God, will bring back your exiles, and He will have mercy upon you. He will once again gather you from all the nations, where the Lord, your God, had dispersed you.” (Deuteronomy 30:3)

Rabbi Pinchas Winston is a Canadian-born scholar, educator and prolific author now living in Israel. He has written countless Torah articles, recorded hundreds of classes and published over 50 books of Jewish thought and philosophy. In recent years, a significant segment of his teaching and writing projects have been focused on helping people worldwide prepare themselves spiritually for the End of Days.

In his book, Survival Guide for the End of Days, Winston accomplishes three main things.

First, he uses the pull of Jewish history to advocate strongly for Jewish people to move to Israel in advance of the arrival of the messiah. Arguing that in the dramatic times in which we live, Jewish people should be running toward the Land of Israel and not away from it, he writes:

Think about it. If you were God, and the goal was to validate the reality of God in the eyes of the world, and the Divinity of Torah to all those who question it, would you protect the Jews of Eretz Yisroel [the Land of Israel]  from their enemies, or allow them to be devoured by them? Would you abandon your children who have made sacrifices to live on your land, and spare the ones who have distanced themselves from it? (p. 46)

Second, understanding that not every Jew can move to Israel immediately, he offers practical and psychological tips for those who are not able to make the move at this time.

…a Diaspora Jew should first develop an incredible love for the Land and desire to live there. He should read whatever he must to achieve this, and do what he can to become real with it. A person should not be afraid to develop a desire for aliyah [immigrating to Israel]. (p. 86)

Third, he emphasizes the role of faith and the necessity of clinging tightly to God’s plan as Jewish history comes to a climax.

[Israel] is a land that inspires bitachon [trust in God] because it is a land that survives because of bitachon. It exists in a virtual lion’s den, and lacks some of the most basic natural resources that other countries depend upon for development. Therefore, it is a land that greatly enhances one’s relationship with God in ways that cannot be achieved while living in the Diaspora. (p. 95)

Whether you call it Armageddon, the End of Days or Geula [redemption], Bible-believing people all around the world are convinced that human history will soon be entering its final chapter. Are you ready?

End of Days Redemption: The Fall of Syria and The Messiah

“The LORD your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among you, from your fellow Israelites. You must listen to him.” (Deuteronomy 18:15)

Daily headlines are increasingly pointing to the notion that the President of Syria, Bashar Hafez al-Assad, more commonly known as Bashar Assad, is losing his grip on Syria. Is this a sign that the End of Days are approaching?

There are several hints in sacred Jewish texts to a connection between the fate of Syria and the End of Days and, in particular, between the fall of Damascus, Syria’s capital city, and the imminent arrival of the Messiah, son of David.

And it is a sign for you, when you see the Nero of the East fall in Damascus, the Salvation will come to Israel, and Mashiah Ben David will come… – Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai

The 2nd century Jewish sage Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai predicted that when an evil ruler in Damascus [the Nero of the East] falls from power, the Messiah, son of David, will appear. The End of Days blogger known as Tomer Devorah made the connection in a recent blog post.

Similarly, the Zohar, the foundational mystical Jewish text, says that when the king of Damascus falls, the Messiah will come. Since Damascus is Syria’s capital city, the current king of Damascus is none other than Bashar Assad.

Jerusalem is destined to reach Damascus –  Shir Hashirim Raba, Chapter 7

More than a thousand years ago, the rabbinic commentary to the Biblical Song of Songs, known as Shir Hashirim Raba, predicted that Jerusalem will eventually reach Damascus.

One way of understanding this commentary is that the modern country of Syria will eventually revert back to being part of the Holy Land, which is symbolized by Jerusalem.

In the midst of the Yom Kippur war in 1973, the Lubavitcher Rebbe, Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson, the then-head of the worldwide Chabad Lubavitch movement, spoke about the significant connection between the war in Syria and the End of Days redemption.

The Rebbe singled out the role of the Syrian capital of Damascus, calling it “a city with an ancient history [that] symbolized the stability of the Muslim world, and therefore the threat Islam posed to the Jewish people.”

Rabbi Receives Heavenly Message in the Cave of Elijah the Prophet

“And he came there to the cave, and he lodged there. And behold! The word of the Lord came to him. And He said to him: “What are you doing here, Elijah?” (1 Kings 19:9)

On the morning of Tuesday, June 9, Israeli mystic Rabbi Amram Vaknin, led a prayer service at the Cave of Elijah the Prophet in Haifa, Israel, along with approximately 30 Jewish men and 30 Jewish women, to pray for the welfare of the Jewish people.

Gil Nachman, an aide to the Rabbi and an eyewitness, told Breaking Israel News that at approximately 11:30 AM, Rabbi Amram Vaknin suddenly fell to the ground, into the mud and water on the floor of the cave.

In this world, Rabbi Vaknin was lying on the floor, but what happened in that cave, according to Nachman, “was above this world. The rabbi received a message for the Jewish people from Eliyahu haNavi (Elijah the Prophet) that there is a decree from Heaven that war will be starting in the south of Israel, will move to the north of Israel and will continue inside of Israel. Thousands of people will die, God-forbid.”

All Jewish people throughout the world are being urgently requested to unite, to pray together in groups, to fast and to give charity in order to avert this decree. Jews are being urged to direct the power of their prayer to beg God to have mercy on the Jewish nation.

Further, according to Nachman, people are being asked to polish their character traits, their fear of Heaven and to improve their interpersonal interactions, in order to change the decree in Heaven.

In an interview with Breaking Israel News, Nachman, speaking for Rabbi Vaknin, passionately appealed to the Jewish people to unite. “We have to be together! No matter what a person wears on the outside, we have to have the intention to love one another.”

Yehudis Schamroth of Beit Shemesh, Israel began attending Rabbi Vaknin’s prayer gatherings six months ago. She told Breaking Israel News, “I first went to Rabbi Vaknin for brachot (blessings) for me and my family. He took a genuine interest in me in a grandfatherly way. He became especially animated in conversation when I asked him how I could help bring along the geula (the final redemption of the Jewish people).”

Rabbi Vaknin, a 76 year-old mystic who lives in striking poverty in the port city of Ashdod, comes from a family of mystics. His mother and his grandmother had the same gift of receiving revelations from Heaven.

Through these messages, Rabbi Vaknin accurately predicted the “Gaza Freedom Flotilla” in May, 2010, the deadly fire in the Carmel forest in December of 2010 as well as Operation Pillar of Defense in 2012 and Operation Protective Edge in 2014.

In the coming days, Rabbi Vaknin is expect to announce a large prayer gathering in Israel. Although a video of the revelation was posted to Facebook, it is difficult to understand. Nachman told Breaking Israel News that some Hebrew subtitles have been added..

The location where this message was received by Rabbi Vaknin is significant. The cave is the very place where God spoke to Elijah when he was hiding from King Ahab and Queen Jezebel.

Further, in Jewish tradition, it will be Elijah the Prophet who announces the ultimate redemption of the Jewish people.
